Echoes of Lengua Sephardí

On February 26, 2026, I presented "Echoes of Lengua Sephardí" at the University of Miami, at the Sue and Leonard Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies and The George Feldenkreis Program in Judaic Studies.

The presentation shared ongoing work from the AMAA–Archives Collections, focused on preserving Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) and Sephardic memory through oral histories, sound archives, and archival research.

At its core, the project safeguards the voices of Sephardic individuals—including survivors of the Shoah—ensuring that their language, stories, and cultural legacy continue to resonate across generations.
